Shipping Within The US
General
We try to ship within a day of receipt of orders. However, orders received late in the day or during very busy times, orders may be delayed a bit.
Standard Shipment
First class or priority mail is our standard within the US and include delivery confirmation. After shipping thousands of packages by mail, we have had hardly any problems. Only two have been lost after they were delivered to apartments, but it seems someone may have taken them after they were delivered. So, if you are in an apartment, please arrange to have them delivered to a secure address. US mail still remains the least expensive shipping method for how fast the packages are delivered.
The catalog automatically calculates total shipping weight when you purchase multiple items. It then calculates shipping charges based on total weight to give you the lowest possible cost. It will only calculate postage for 20 lbs or less, but packages larger than that are rare.
Large Packages
For very large packages, we might consider FedEx ground, but would consult with you first.
